More moving eye candy from the basket of goodies that is E3 in this latest gameplay video of the piece of Silent Hill that'll follow you wherever you go (read: Konami's Silent Hill Origins for the PSP). Clocking at barely half a minute, it's admittedly short, but that's more than enough time for Travis to stumble upon one of Silent Hill's bizarre, disfigured monsters and beat it to death with his oversized monkey wrench.

Admittedly, while there's a bit of noticeable pixellation visible, the graphics are looking very sharp and solid - comparable to that of Silent Hill 2 for the PlayStation 2. The shadowing and textures are convincing, the animations superb and smooth - not to mention that the atmosphere itself still feels and looks Silent Hill. And come on, seriously - Silent Hill on the go? It's doesn't take much of a rocket surgeon to figure out that this game is going to rock.

Enough spoilers from us, though. Enjoy the video!

Blood's a special effect, not a gameplay element, so I would (and I assume they are) add it in towards the end, and worry about making the game work right, then add the gooey stuff.
