When we first found out that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will be a rail shooter for the Wii, a light-gun attachment was almost a must if we'd ever get our hands on it. Fortunately, another present for gamers was unwrapped at E3: the Wii Zapper.
More of a very smart accessory than an attachment, the Zapper combines a Wiimote and Nunchuck to form a tommy gun shaped controller which is compatible with several games. Many expect that it should greatly enhance the Umbrella Chronicles experience. It can be held by both hands, and its accuracy seems to be very reliable.
No release date is set on stone yet, but we do know that it will be sold separately for US$ 19.99. To see it in full zombie-busting glory, watch the embedded video below.

You either have to shoot with your off-hand or hold the gun in a goofy backwards way. Couldn't they have come up with something better?????
I mean, say you're right handed:
-If you hold it like a normal rifle or smg, you have to shoot the trigger with your left hand and move/look on the nunchuk with your right hand (which is proper for gun handling but backwards for Wii controls)
-If you hold the gun with your right hand forward so you can shoot with your trigger finger and use the nunchuk with the proper hand, then you have the wrong hand forward on the gun and are using it like a lefty (which is proper for Wii controls but backwards for gun handling)
Totally ridiculous....looks like it's time to go 3rd party for a zapper accessory

The games will be designed with that holding style in mind. Granted if I were to be firing a normal rifle or smg at my telly I'd rather be holding the guns normal way as that's how they were inteded to be held.
