DS on E3 - Image 1

The ultimate farm game is heading your way again with Harvest Moon 2: Island of Happiness. (Or in Japanese, Kimi To Sodatsu Shima. Expand your vocabulary.)

The latest Harvest Moon on the DS from Marvelous Interactive gives you six characters to choose from from each gender. The story starts when you and your family are stranded on an island and have to survive by cultivating a farm. Eventually, more people come in to provide more options as your farm grows.

Here are the latest screenshots from E3. It's in Japanese though, so watch out as it will be headed for the US this November.

» Lookin' Good!!!

These screen-shots of Harvest Moon DS 2 look pretty good. Of course, number one looked like the GBA Harvest Moon games. Number two here looks better than Harvest Moon 64, and almost as good as Magical Melody. I hope, though, that those aren't the only eligible bachelorettes. Of course, if we're gonna use tools on the Wii and Natsume wants to make it actually realistic, then we're gonna need first person perspective. Maybe this is just Natsume gearing up for more realistic farming action?
