E3 news - PSP PS3 Xbox 360 Nintendo Wii DS - Image 1

Ah yes, it's the weekend already (expect those Weekend Warriors to start rolling in now!), and some of you may already be gearing up for E3. Hey, it already starts on Monday!

Well, we figured a lot of you might want to be updated as the news comes flowing in from the Los Angeles Convention Center, and just so you know what time and when to check on stuff online, we've put together the schedule of press conferences to happen within the next couple of days.

Here's the changelog schedule for the E3 Media & Business Summit 2008:

All time slots are listed for Pacific Standard Time.

We'll be working double time on reporting news as they come in, so make sure you keep checking back on us. Note that this schedule is only for the press conferences of the major players in the event. Other third party developers will also be there on the showfloor, bringing their upcoming games.

E3's last day is on July 17, but that doesn't mean the news will end there. You can expect a lot of other news items from E3 popping up over the course the days following the 17th and well into the weekend.

Grab the popcorn! This is going to be one heck of a show!

Why does Gears2 get it's own reception? Someone's pushing some money around, it seems.

Why is it Microsoft always first? Sony should be the first to show up hehehe.

Good question, Hekynn. Personally, I am more of a 360 fan than a PS3 fan. I DO have both consoles, but I enjoy the 360 due to its massive library and kickass online system. But Sony's library is building, no doubts there!

A pattern though... Microsoft was first to release a next-gen console in 2005, remember? I wonder why they like to be first. I guess its marketing you know. Whoever is first will get the most attention! But whoever is last will leave a lasting impression.

Overall, E3 is going to kick ass for all consoles! It's that one time of the year where fanboys and girls shouldn't worry about who is better.

It's a time for gaming.

Huh? Shouldn't it be Nintendo going first seeing that they dominate the console and game sales?

If you have less products in homes then you have fewer people to entertain and demonstrate new products to.
