Some of you may be wondering when a sneak peek of the next big Halo installment will be greatly disappointed.
Harold Ryan, President of Bungie, recently announced that he and his team will be doing a no show for the 2008 gaming event. A short statement was posted on the company's official website explaining their absence:
While it seems like Bungie fans won't be getting their game on with the developers this week, we're hoping that "the right time" for them to showcase their new goods won't be that far off. In any case, we'll be keeping an eye out for any new updates Bungie may have for everyone.

That was the count down?
Now I disappointed.
The countdown was interrupted. It never finished. They were planning on unveiling something but were told not to do so. The countdown was not to give you this message.
to see if they ACTUALLY make the leap with the outdated graphics and gameplay.
I can see the story going into different direction when consiedering what the corresponding enemies will be with flood
Another HAlo ? HAlo 4 maybe?
The guys at bungie are the kings of hype. They've been building towards this announcement for a while, so it's very odd that Microsoft would step in at the last moment. It seems like it would be in Microsoft's best interest to step aside and let them do what they do best.
