Just in time for the E3 2007, we've got another batch of Time Crisis 4 screenshots. This latest batch will showcase the game's expected departure from a rail shooter into a free-roaming FPS as Namco Bandai preps it for launch to the PlayStation 3.

Of interesting note here (and a first for the Time Crisis franchise) is what appears to be a combat knife as a selectable weapon, probably for melee fights. Also unclear here is which screenshots feature Capt. William Rush, who's expected to be playable in Time Crisis 4's PS3 port. Guys who've played the arcade version probably remember him as your primary backup, constantly providing you with combat hints and extra hardware.

From the looks of it -- Namco Bandai has only confirmed a PS3 rendition in the works. They didn't make any mention of a 360 or Wii port.

Wii doesn't even come close to this level. Sorry to disappoint you but it's running on arcade hardware far more powerful than your last gen white box
