Details have emerged on Sony Computer Entertainment's upcoming title for the PSP, ATV:Offroad Fury Pro. ATV:Offroad Fury Pro will be the second ATV release for Sony's portable console, and is scheduled for release in October 006. This game will have the ability to connect to 3 other players via the PSP's integrated WiFi, and will also have cross compatibility with ATV Offroad Fury 4 for the PS2, allowing you to exchange and upgrade vehicles, share trading cards, and access chat rooms and newsgroups.

Here's a list of features:
  • New Shared Online Community – Players can access message boards and view scores, rankings, player profiles, and exchange game data with other players.
  • Multiplayer Gameplay – Gamers can compete locally against friends or race fans around the country via wireless multiplayer connectivity, either via Ad Hoc or Infrastructure Mode.
  • More than 30 ATVs, MX bikes, buggies, and Trophy trucks provide players the ultimate selection of racing vehicles.
  • A vehicle tuning system allows players to change tire type, exhaust, gear ratios, and more.
  • Customizable component parts for vehicles and riders along with color designs and logos to place on panels and rider gear - showing rider experience in events.
ATV:Offroad Fury Pro will also feature many new minigames, including: Rings of fire, Card Battle, ATV Pool, plus all the classic ATV minigames, such as Bomb Dodge, Treasure Hunt, and Graveyard Madness.

» sounds good

The first one for the psp was a mediocre game. I was impressed by the graphics and the gameplay was fun (I was a pretty big fan of the ps2 version) but I lost all interest after only about two weeks, (it was my only game at the time). Hopefully this game will improve on that

» mx vs. atv ripoff!

come on now, planes, trucks, buggies? sounds to me like their trying to copy rainbow studios/THQ. Rainbow studios was the creator of ATV offroad fury, but they sold the title and ever since then the games have been horrible. Has anybody played ATV offroad fury 3? it sucks. Climax has taken over the name. i would reccommend MX vs. ATV unleashed.
