World of Warcraft running on iPhone |

Joyce noted that the experience wasn't that smooth given WoW's textures, graphics, and sound settings among others. Despite that, Alan Joyce mentioned that he could control several actions in the MMO video game through the iPhone interface like receiving and responding to in-game chat messages.
Anyone seeing a future deal between Blizzard and Apple? Possibly a WoW client for the iPhone? We guess we'll have to wait and see.

Failure Nr. 2: YOu can clearly see on the Notebook the character at the login screen has a big bad hammer (sort of) in hand - The char on iPhone doesnt
Failure Nr 3: The "loading" bar goes from zero (not blue) to full (blue) within a secon. I play WoW since 1.5 years now and havent seen this yet (and I got a very fast computer, dual core etc)
Failure Nr 4: At login he zooms to a other character (at about 2:44 of the movie) who has PvP shoulders. Those shoulders are normally animated (fire animation) - I dont see an animation
Failure Nr 5: A text bubble shows upright after. Text bubbles normally dissapear WAY faster
Failure Nr 6: The guild chat is pretty inactive... thats absoultly not normal, specially on alliance side. And also, there's no general or trade chat.

Besides... whith such a bad navigation you wont go anywhere in WoW. I wouldnt even call it "playing"... its more like looking at it.
This (for me) is 100% Fake and prolly is a slideshow or powerpoint sort of.

This is NOT running on the Iphone, it is running on the mac, and he is sharing the interface, similar to windows net meeting with remote control, or any one of other remote control programs.
The idea is kind of cool however, and while it would NOT be practical for actual game play (i.e. combat)it might allow you to remotely check auctions or something like that.

Even if it was true it's not RUNNING on the iPhone. It would only be having the image streamed to the iPhone.
gj on not spotting the obvious, qj.

Poking and prodding away at the unresponsive screen, trying to get it to scroll / zoom!
And can you even imagine writing a long text message on that horrorshow of a screen? It takes him about 15 seconds to write the word "yes" LOLOLOL
SO glad I never got one of those POS iPhones
