Karen pointed out last week, that Apple had disbanded the entire Aperture team. Everyone immediately feel to premonitions of doom for the high-end photo application from Apple. Honestly, it didn't look great - and the stories began to trickle down that made things look even worse. Tales of problems from the start, a 9 month delay in release date (getting all Microsoft I guess...), and so on made it look like a pretty awful situation.But a blog post that I came across over the weekend may bring a slight parting of the clouds. A new Aperture team is being pulled together? I suppose that would make sense. Apple isn't about to completely abandon their entire new program - are they? I'll link the blog post and let you form your own opinions. Everyone has a blog these days, so who's to say this guy is for real? His software is cool. He's not blabbing about all kinds of juicy details as a rumor monger may choose to do. I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt, and hope to see some awesome new things from Aperture in the coming year.
