FF2: Rise of the Silver Surfer

"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" from 20th Century Fox and Marvel Comics is the sequel to the 2005 movie Fantastic Four. The actors reprise their roles and new faces will grace the series. Silver Surfer and Nova debuts in this movie.

In the trailer, we see an uber cool aerial chase between the Human Torch and the Silver Surfer. Since we still need to do some waiting to do for the actual movie (US release is June 15), you can watch the trailer at the link below. The trailer is available for download for the PSP, iPod Video, and Zune, among other portable video players.

The Silver Surfer is an intergalactic herald for Galactus, a powerful being who devours worlds. He arrives on Earth and does so in the worst of times - during Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and Sue Storm's (Invisible Woman) wedding. That's the least of their problems as their arch nemesis Dr. Doom returns to do what normal villains do: get revenge and laugh maniacally.

» If you could only read...

If you could only read, it says right in the article, "The trailer is available for download for the PSP, iPod Video, and Zune, among other portable video players."

Oh, wait a minute, why I am bothering telling you about it,... I forgot you had trouble reading, much less paying attention to things that are right in front of you, Dumbass !

» You'll be going to see the sequel too...

Come on, admit it, the only reason you went to go see my movie, despite your hard A S S criticizm of it was so that you and your friends could stare and drool over my beautiful, bountiful, well endowed chest.

And I know that you'll be coming back for more, once the sequel is released in theatres, cause Jessica likes her men naughty.

» silver surfer

was a mostly normal dude who pleaded with galactus to spare his home planet; galactus saw pity and gave the surfer a new body; one that reflected the surfers pasttime.. (space)surfing, a body that could withstand the coldness of space and the hottest of stars, he is referred to as the 'herald of galactus' because he goes ahead of galactus and looks for any reason why galactus should leave a planet alone, instead of devouring it; he goes to Earth and sees that it should be spared (i think), and galactus gets pissed and bans him there; setting up an invisible barrier which prevents the surfer from leaving earth...something like that...

but I wrote this in a drunken haze and (I) believe for some reason that it was the x-men that helped the surfer to break the barrier rather than the fantastic 4 as the trailer implies; but I could be wrong

» Galactus and Dr.Doom

I think it would be cool to see Galactus and Dr.Doom team up in the movie. I know Galactus if done right would cost lots of money to make him in the movie but if He is not in it. FF is going to suck. With bringing in Silver Surfer you need his backstory added for people that do not know who He is so Galactus has to be in it.

Plus if Galactus and Dr.Doom did team up you would know there would be room for another movie because half way into the movie Galactus and Dr.Doom would hate each other then it would become a blood bath.

But I know this is not going to happen and Silver Surfer is going to come out as crap and just be added as another character without having any back story what so ever.
