Homebrew developer Richard Shearman has combined the very useful Safari Download Plugin and SeeQPod's streaming MP3 services to come up with a free alternative to iTunes: dTunes.

Using it's pretty easy. After installing, just fire it up and tap the magnifying glass button or the SeeQPod button to search for a song. Once you find the song you want, you can choose to download it as an MP3. You can then play it back using dTunes' built-in media player.

dTunes also works with 3G and EDGE. To download, just look for it on the ModMyiFone repository on Cydia. It's under the multimedia category.

» Woah!

This is a pretty cool app. It is VERY organized for a homebrew music downloader. I highly recomend it.
