According to the next issue of EGM magazine, the April edition, the magazine reveals Apple's plans to release the 'iGame' a machine looking very much like our dear-old iPods but with the ability to play video games.

Now, I don't know about any of you guys, but as a reader of EGM over the years, I've fallen for every old April Fool's trick in the book, and I'm not about to fall for this one. First of all came Sheng Long, the mythical character in Street Fighter II that appeared to only the best game players out there. Next came, among many other things, a snapshot of the classic N64 game, Ocarina of Time featuring updated visuals to coincide with the release of a Gamecube Zelda, reportedly a pre-order goodie.

It also doesn't seem very likely that Steve Jobs would allow a video game magazine to break such a huge story as this would have been had it been real. It just doesn't work that way, people. Looking at it, it doesn't seem very ergonomic or inviting, which would be order 1 on Apple's plate. Well, we can still wonder what could be, can't we?
