switcheasy Runaway anyshoe...huwat???It clearly was not only an attempt to get more people into jogging. It was also, of course, an attempt to lure more sales of Nike's products. Yep, the Nike-iPod tandem definitely was a sure-fire hit. And not a cheap one, too. See, in order for you to enjoy the benefits of the groovy Nike + iPod sport kit, you had to buy a shoe to come along with it (and get yourself a stalker, at that!).

Now, for all you out there who wants to make do with whatever little resource that's left of them for the holidays, here's an ultra-cheap alternative for the said sport kit. The SwitchEasy RunAway AnyShoe Adapter allows the sport kit gadget to fit on any pair of shoes. And no, it doesn't have to be Nike.

Okay, so the name sure could use some time to get to warm up to. But hey, if it works, then it's all good. After all, you just need to clip it onto your laces, and you'll be able to track your run, as well us jog to the beat of your music. What's more, it's yours for only US$ 12.

As for how sturdy this gadget will be, we can't really tell. At least it's cheap, right? Anyway, just click on the thumbnail to get a bigger view.
