3 UMD Movies for GBP 10 (US$ 20) at Amazon UK

Amazon UK is giving out quite a deal for those who enjoy watching movies on their PSPs. They're having a sale which nets you 3 UMD movies for the price of GBP 10 (US$ 20). Now you're probably thinking that the movies must not be really good, but you'd be surprised at the classics they are offering in their promo.

They have quite a few gems in their list such as Superman Returns, The Matrix, The Matrix Revolutions, Constantine, Corpse Bride, and the first Batman. Now these are movies that we've enjoyed watching in the cinemas and would provide a nice break from playing whatever game you've been spending your time on.

The PSP is region locked for UMD movies by hardware. Custom firmware has a fix for this, but from what I've heard, it doesn't work quite so well.

The offer is from Amazon.co.uk, meaning these movies are for UMD region 2 (europe and japan). You might want to check the description for each movie, though. You might be lucky and find a movie which is region-free. (For example, Dune is).

Was there any point adding (US 20) into the title. It's completely irrelevant to the American guys, and makes people like the guy up there ^^^ think that it's possible for them to benefit from it, when Amazon wont ship stuff like that internationally .

This isn't really news in the UK where UMD movies are three for £10 in most high street stores. The fact that Amazon are now doing it does make it more internationally available but like others have said here already, it's no good if you're locked by region and don't have custome firmware.

about time the UK got some sort of deal, we are always left out.

It's just a shame the list is so short and the films offered suck big time. Who buys UMD movies these days?
