Contrary to popular belief, games aren’t all bang-bang, shoot ‘em up, slice ‘em down, monster blood-and-guts gore fest. If you look hard enough, which we did, you may come across genuine mind-expanding games for your PSP. Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords and More! (Crave Entertainment ) is a repository of more than 1,000 crossword puzzles, word searches and other brainteasers of varying degrees of difficulty to suit your IQ. There are codebreakers (you have to determine the number matches assigned to each letter of the alphabet) puzzles with cryptic clues, diamond shaped puzzles and backwards puzzles where you fills in your own black squares. The PSP version has a two-player game sharing mode that enables two people on separate handheld consoles to play the game via wireless connection using one disc. Profiles can be set for multiple players so that the entire household can use the software.

For some reason we failed at finding any screenshots for this puzzling new game. Anyway, Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords and More! hits the store this April 2006. When it does, be there early, it could be the blockbuster of the year. (But don't take our word for it.)

Generaly speaking crosswords are all about the amount of knowledge you have on a subject and remembering it, while one's IQ has little to nothing to do with those things so the comment on testing your IQ is not valid. Just letting everyone know so they dont confuse this with a Brain Training type game. Your IQ has to do with your comprehension level above all else. In fact you can lack basic reading and writting skills and still be a genius.

(Genius is 144 and average is 100 BTW)

this game combined iq mania, practical intelligent quotent, mercury, exit, luminites makes the psp the ultimate puzzle game king. I know this is a nieche genre but I still dont get why ppl always say the psp is only superior to the ds in racing games and sports games when it obviously rules in puzzle games as well.

That's a show they should bring back, but not in the same time slot as his new show. That way you could watch NPH then and NPH now in the same night!

Remember NPH from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle? He is high on E and humps the back of a car seat.

Inputting loads of letters without a keyboard smacks of being tedious!
