EA has just moved the ship date for SSX On Tour from October 25 to October 11. Announced early this May, On Tour is the latest installment in the popular snowboarding series where performing tricks and winning races nets players massive points.

On Tour promises a slew of new tracks and game modes.

"SSX On Tour is a completely fresh take on the SSX franchise," said Steve Barcia, senior producer on the game. "Building on the core speed and trick gameplay that has been so successful in the past, you can now choose your way to become a black diamond rockstar."

I'm going to check it out, as I love snowboarding games. It doesn't sound that bad, and it will be the first snowboarding game for the psp :D

SSX tricky was one of (and still is) the best games on PS2. SSX3 didnt offer much new tho.

Im all for bringing out popular games on PS2, but I can't help that think software houses are getting lazy by just rehashing proven sellers rather than trying to break the mould.

I'm guessing this game is suppose to hold us over until GTA comes out. Sony realized they haven't released anything substantial stateside in a while so they're throwing us a bone.

Ad hoc only, I'm guessing.
