lol I love how people on here actually feel bad about not handing over there money to EA HA! I don't think they understand game companys are just out to make as much money as possible
if every person on the planet went out to buy a legal version of burnout the price would just go up because of supply and demand, it wouldn't go down:P lol can't wait for the flamers to tear apart that logic, have fun:)
"Besides the majority people here posting for example "As far as piracy goes, I have a modded ps2,xbox and gamecube. Along with cards to play on GBA and DS. I also download movies and music so I dont spend money on anything that I can get for free. And I sleep good at night." Are nothing more than kids 11-19. With Parents who could care less what their kids are doing. Just as long as they dont go "columbine" on anyone, b/c that would make them seem like unfit parents. Just a bunch "prepubecent girls" that they are"
I am the one who posted that and am in fact 28 and do not live in my parents basement like some othere I just don't like spendind money for something I can get for free. So don't try to impose your stupid moral values on me go donate to Katrina or some other bulls@#t.
RE: Anon, 12:04
If you knew anything about economics, and the real world you'd know that if people demand it, the price will go down.
The unit sales increase, so they can reduce the price and still make a huge profit because more people are buying because the products cost less.
RE: Anon, 12:18
You really need to start acting like an adult and actually contribute something to the world.
PS Donate to the red cross so karma doesn't bite you in the ass.
The game's really good... I think it's worth buying. I will probably get it when it will hit the stores - just for the feeling, that I have a pile of brilliant psp games, with no **** in it. =))
Sony should make downloadable demos, I think... just like Nokia did with the N-gage.
RE: Anon, 11:37am
At least I bought my soapbox...
"If you knew anything about economics, and the real world you'd know that if people demand it, the price will go down. "
Yea we all know how much Rockstar has lowered their prices since they have sold millions of GTA games. These companies are greedy and will continue to be its the american way.
RE: Anonymous 12:38 AM
I do contribute I work pay taxes and have a nice 4bdrm home and 3 cars so I give back enough to the community. I ain't spending 50 for a stupid game I can get for free HA.
On the subject of piracy, Some of my friends can't afford to buy their children these overpriced shinny disc. So I get them copies of the games. Are they supposed to do without just out of some moral responsability to line the pockets of the corporations so the execs can make even more millions. Sorry if I don't fell bad for them.
been playing the game for the past week.... *cough* iso *cough*.. it's good.. finally a good game since wipeout..
yea I am sure they are alot of people that have been playing it I know I like it too almost as good as ridge racer.
I put in my own cutome sound track. :) now i thik it's the best PSP game
best new game besides virtua tennis
If only the game looked like that
Yeah, that is the only thing lacking from this game...the boost motion blur effect. Otherwise, it is fantastic.
The ISO is not the final version of the game, there are several things missing that were said to be features in thr game.
like?
-yawZa
there seems to be everything in place, everything they said theyd have in the game, they do, hell of a game best game out for psp hands down
haahahahahhaah
I love it when morons say the ISO version or the 'Pirate' version in inferior to the 'real' version.
Maybe if you get a rip...but I hate to tell yer, backups are exactly the same as originals.
Very very good game with a nice twist.. Worth the price if you like non-serious racing. I wish the cars were a little bit more detailed.
Probably the best game I've played on the PSP yet. Music sucks a bit, but graphics are pretty sweet for the size of the screen, and its very fast! I think I'll even buy it when its released!!!!
woah i really wish this game was out allready!... oh wait, thats right...
really a great game for psp, been playing for whole weekend. however sometimes the graphics deformate, and music sux, yes.
I dunno what it is with EA. With the exception of Fifa which sometimes has a few good choons - the music in their games generally sucks! You dont really need music in Fifa cause its only in the start menu / team management and not actually during the game... but Burnout needs some decent music!
You're a bunch of freeloading ****gots.
Sounds like someone is sour to me... perhaps a 1.51, 1.52 or 2.0 owner lol
way to use the F word man, lets try an show some respect
You're asking me to show some respect, when almost every poster here is saying how awesome the game is when they've illegally downloaded it?
Pot. Kettle. Black.
RE: Anon, 5:33am
No, no bitterness at all. Just heavy distain for the free-loaders that believe they have the right to complain about a games music content when they've illegally downloaded it for free.
i agree - if you download it for free, your just being a whiny **** if you complain about it.
but on the other hand, if sony is so happy to demand such insanely high prices for psp software, then i dont feel guilty in the least, for downloading the occasional iso, especially seeing as i have bought some games, and i did pay them a hell of a lot of money for their system in the first place
Who need screenshots when it is already out two weeks ago *iso* Anyway this game is awesome!
RE: Anon, 6:13AM
It's a vicious circle. If you download it for free, illegally, Sony aren't making as much money as they should and have to bring the price up.
So if you buy the game (yes, you, you free-loading troglodytes), Sony make more money and can afford to discount the price of the games.
Actually the way it works is if you buy the game, Sony makes more money that goes to Kutaragi's family pockets, and other big shots' pockets.
So I really don't give a **** if they make profit from it or not, I just want the game.
^^ exactly what vini said.
anyways i get 100% discount HAR!
I feel sorry that your freeloaders believe you have a right to something when you clearly don't.
I said I liked the game apart from the music was crap - but I was going to buy it when it was out. If i'd thought the whole game was crap I'd have deleted it and not bought it. Try before you buy - saves you ending up with loads of UMD's that you dont like.
This games rockes :D
i allready got 101 Takedowns in one race!!!
See my little video
www.dmotion.nl/psp
Dont worry about Sony they can make money from other games too. Especially from v1.51 v1.52 v.2.0ers. A Downgrader is just a myth and WAB (We Are ****es) are just attention whores.
Oh and one more thing I'd like to mention.
People that say they like to try and buy are full of ****!
You can finish any PSP game out in about 2 days, are you telling me you're gonna buy it after you do?
**** you stop pretending and say it as it is.
that's so true... wish I had TRIED untold legends, before i bought that crap... same thing with coded arms...
The crash mode? It's in the game, when you're on the map choosing a location, press Square, and you'll go to the crash section.
re:joecool
Press Square during world tour mode, or look in the single event menu.
For those that complain that others are free loading...shut up. they already know they are free loading. how about you just buy the game and keep it moving.
I think the real problem here is the amount of retards involved within the community. A large proportion of them seem to visit PSP Updates.
That, and I guess the parents of these kids aren't willing to spend thier hard earnt cash on them - and rightfully so.
So, this leads them to resort to illegal activities to get anything in life which brings the core of what could (i.e. currently is not) be a good community down.
It's pathetic.
Unfortunately because of work, girlfriend, hobbies etc, I only have time to play my PSP a few hours a week - hence no chance of me finishing it within 2 days... so yes I WILL be buying this. As the nfo files supplied with the games say - if you like it, buy it.
There are loads of games I have played for a few hours and decided I dont like - so I dont buy them. I bought Pro Evo Soccer on xbox months ago and still play it loads - just like I'll prob download Winning Eleven on PSP and play it till English version comes out, and then buy it.

Custom Soundtrack?? how???
or do you mean you hacked it :|
When you download the game and open the iso, there's a music folder, so you just put whatever you want there and then redo the iso, that's all.
I'm curious, if everyone's against piracy why is every other thread in the fourms on like three different psp sites aimed towards the possiability of a downgrader? For what reason? To play isos and emulators and roms of pirated games hum funny how that works.
ah i see..
wish it would read music from your PSP music folder.. but ok thanxz :)
but wtf is .mus?
Google it you'll find stuff.
I assume you overwrite the existing files? And they still show up in the game as what it thinks they are? What do you make a MUS file with?
I also have the iso and it is a great game. I just can't stop playing Virtua Tennis. That game is almost a perfect 10, but Burnout is very close as well! Can't wait for GTA...hope they get that ISO too!!! Even though, I will probably buy a rockstar game anyway even after i download it.
I still dont get it :(
it's not just *.mp3 rename to *.mus i found out..
right? :)
um...for what reasons? for the homebrew...its not all emulators and isos...
All that fuss over some crappy homemade apps and games. What's the point? And I guaranty most of the people wanting the downgrade want the emus and isos.
you need the Codemaster music converter tool to convert the mp3s to the proper format.
I find it hilarious that the majority of comments in here are from people that have already downloaded the iso of the game.
Yet you wonder why Sony is doing everything in thier power to stop homebrew on the PSP(legal or otherwise).
It's a shame that we will all eventuailly suffer for your "cheapness".
So true, Anonymous.
As far as piracy goes, I have a modded ps2,xbox and gamecube. Along with cards to play on GBA and DS. I also download movies and music so I dont spend money on anything that I can get for free. And I sleep good at night.
i agree. they need a little better music. i mean some of it is good but its just not racing. it needs someting faster and bit heavier
Where do you find that tool?
Or what's its real name? I googled "Codemaster music converter tool" and got nothing
Try googling for "reporting piracy Electronic Arts". And then kill yourself.

"Try googling for "reporting piracy Electronic Arts". And then kill yourself."
Why don't you get off your soap box and shut up!!
Oh, for the searcher of the Codemaster tool - http://www.codemasters.de/downloads/?downloadid=20182
"At least I bought my soapbox..."
Ooh, Arn't you special. I feel bad now I'm gonna stop all my piracy now, NOT.
All of you antipiracy advocates have no idea where your money is going, do you?
Yea I'm going to pay for something that I can get for free that's real smart. as far as paying a debt to someone I owe these people nothing.
Ok,I'll put it like this.
When you buy a game.
Sony is getting some of your money, the game developers, the store you buy it from, the federal and state government are getting some too. When you buy games you are not "lining billions into Sony's pockets"
You are supporting an industry,an infastructure.
With that said,I have downloaded every iso available, but I don't feel that these are "pirated" because of the way they are used.So far I have transferred 2 iso's to a memory stick, and got maybe 1 hr of play time from them, then deleted.
I think of it more as an archive, which is there for historical value.
All that said,I don't try before I buy,I know when Sony releases a good game, and I buy it.
Buying games supports terrorism!!!!!
You retards.
"Yea I'm going to pay for something that I can get for free that's real smart. as far as paying a debt to someone I owe these people nothing."
I'll reword it:
"I'm going to steal from an industry and market which I pretend to support but insist on stealing from, depriving it from the money needed to make better quality products, and then act like I'm owed something when I dislike features of a game I didn't pay for".
You know, I'm all in favor of buying software, but I can think of at least six valid reasons to play Burnout Legends off a memory stick ISO while leaving the legally-purchased UMD at home.
1) Load times.
2) Battery life.
3) Overclocking to smooth out the occasional framerate hitch.
4) Bypass firmware upgrade.
5) In reviews of the game, reviewers mention a graphical "hitch" when songs change. This appears to not be an issue when playing off of stick.
6) Get a week's head-start so you don't get hooked on traffic-checking in Revenge, then have to go back to dodging cars in Legends.
Oh well you continue to pay for things others get for free while I will be happy with my free stuff.oh and I don't support the game industry I just like the free games.
^^EXACTLY^^
With all the people pirating, I hope enough actually DO buy the game, so that they bring out another for PSP. If they see that their game is just being pirated, that's going to discourage more PSP releases. Damn you pirates, you're ruining the chances of more games! It's no wonder to me why PSP is getting low on the new releases.. No one wants to make any more :/
Okay okay...I dont know where they got these screenshots becuase thats not what it looks like on my psp. Its all grainy and psone looking. However it is a good game. If you played burnout 2 its the same game with some new cars....the "legends" worth a buy but if you are expecting those screenshots and all new material you will be disappointed.
Just buy the game and support the gaming community.
You hippies! With your "I dont give my money to big brother" it's all BS.
Besides the majority people here posting for example "As far as piracy goes, I have a modded ps2,xbox and gamecube. Along with cards to play on GBA and DS. I also download movies and music so I dont spend money on anything that I can get for free. And I sleep good at night." Are nothing more than kids 11-19.
