MGS Portable Ops - Image 1Two new titles have found their way into "The Best" budget line-up for Japan. Parading after other sleeper hits like Level 5's Jeanne d'Arc and Namco's Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Dynasty Warriors are currently on queue to be re-released under the "The Best" label with an oh-so-tempting slash off their price.

Konami's MGS Portable Ops will be re-released on the 20th of this month - same day as MPO+ - with a JPÂ¥ 2,800 (US$ 25) tag, while Koei's Dynasty Warriors will follow on October 4 for JPÂ¥ 1,600 (US$ 15).

Man, what a steal. Especially with the incoming release of MGS Portable Ops Plus, we expect the original version's price cut off couldn't have come at a better time. For the Japanese, at least. Nonetheless... there's always PlayAsia.
