Baseball fans have something to shout about come April 3rd and it's not only Opening Day. 2K games are ensuring Major League Baseball 2K6 ships to retailers for Xbox and PS2. Needless to say this is the North American launch, as for some odd reason baseball isn't that popular in Europe, a shame as many of us would love more baseball games and perhaps a few less soccer titles, or perhaps that's just me wanting more sports choice for my buck. Major League Baseball 2K6 is the only officially licensed Major League Baseball video game to appear on every major gaming console. It's also available for the Xbox 360 and the Sony PSP Handheld system. It will be rated 'E' for everyone and will have a retail price point of $39.99USD on current generation platforms and PSP, but 'Heads Up!!' it will be a slightly heftier price of $59.99USD on the Xbox 360.

Baseball in Europe is a Girls game called Rounders and Basketball is a girls game called Netball here.
We'd rather spend 5 days standing in a field drawing a game of cricket anyday.

For the PSP, it is the most-packed UMD yet...almost nothing has changed from the Xbox and PS2 versions!
It's going to be excellent.
