Pre-E3 2005: Bounty Hounds Announced
What might this new alien hunting game for PSP be?
Do you miss Lee Majors as the stunt man/bounty hunter in the hit 80s' TV show, The Fall Guy? I know it hurts, but that's what PSP games are for. Namco has announced, in its slate of titles to debut at E3, a new PS game called Bounty Hounds headed for the handheld that will make you a bounty hunter in a sci-fi setting. In what sounds like a action-RPG of sorts, players will make use of a choice of over 500 weapons, battle 40 alien species, and complete 40 missions. Lordy, those numbers are big! Apparently, the gameplay experience changes each time you play with the use of randomly generated dungeons, which is quickly becoming a popular gameplay trick in PSP releases. Moreoever, enemies will change their strategy based on how much health you have a what type of weapon you gunning with. Wi-fi plans will let players team-up and share rare items they can't in the single player experience.
Outside of that, we don't much more, but Namco is expected to say more about this title at E3 in the days leading up to the show, and may even have a playable demo on the show floor. Stay tuned for updates.
