Mic has emailed us his first Lua game (demo) for the PSP, based on the 1996 Sierra game Shivers. The story of "Shivers" starts with you playing the role of a teenager, who accepted the challenge to spend a night inside the Museum of the Strange and Unusual at Mt. Pleasant. This demo allows you to explore the museum and realize the idea of making a gameworld by showing some pictures.
You can get it in our PSP Download section [here].
Thanks for the email and the program Mic =)
Currently, this program will only run on PSPs with firmware version 1.0 or 1.50. If you do not know which firmware version your PSP has, or if you need help installing this program on your PSP, please read our Ultimate FAQ.
If you have a higher firmware version than 1.50 on your PSP, please check the information below:

Comments
When you don't agree with a comment from another user, it is sufficient to express that you don't agree. However, if your only rebuttal to that comment is a pale attack on the supposed character of the individual who commented then you are perhaps better off sticking to some kind of forum for individuals who thrive on that kind of ignorant behavior.
I'm truly sorry that your life has proven so pitiful that you feel that your asinine comments mean anything to anyone but you. Perhaps you should consider taking up drugs or alcohol or an alternative lifestyle to release the stress you must feel. Posting on forums is only making you look like a fool.

i wanted to make a EBOOT.PBP, but the only way i could do that was by using the luaplayer 0.6 that makes a standalone game of it using the lpng liblua liblualib, etc. These files where not included, and i tryed to find these files, but it just didn't worked. So could somebody give everybody who wants to know a really clear example of how you make it a EBOOT.PBP.
Thanks already!
MIC

However, it's really hard to take any of these games seriously because they aren't really PSP games. I know they're formatted for PSP and all, but they're really just running on top of an interpreter and could really be run on just about any platform that has the LUA interpreter on it.
In short, it's nice to see some folks be able to make games who might not have gotten to otherwise, but I really don't think that these games can really be considered truly PSP homebrew.
And, before anyone says anything about "if you don't like it code something yourself," anyone can code this stuff for themselves, LUA isn't that hard and it's readily available to anyone. So there!
