Dengeki PlayStation has revealed more details about the new Party Play feature in Ys 7, the latest Ys game that's coming to the Sony PlayStation Portable. Unfortunately I don't speak Japanese, so were going with PSPHyper's translations on this one.

According to the mag, the Party Play feature basically gives the player two AI-controlled companions that will travel along with Adol throughout his adventures. The Party Play screenshot shows the characters Aisha and Dogi along with Adol, but I'm not sure if they're the only ones you can have in your party or if you can also choose the other characters shown in the scans below.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. We have scans too. Check 'em out.

Finally a release I can look forward too (except Dissidia in English lol). The Ark of Napishtim was really fun in my books. The only killer was that i was ported from the PS2, and the load times were insane (better when bumped up to 333mhz) I think I checked and the UMD had over 2000 files on it. THats a lot so sort through..

Hopefully this one doesn't suffer load times like its forerunner.

» Ported from the PC then PS2.

Anyways, it's awesome that the PSP gets a Ys title that isn't on any other system. Ys 7 isn't on the PC this time around, so it's a really good title that isn't multconsole.

Unfortunately, the Ys series doesn't have too many fans. However. This would be a first day release for me. If Ys1 and 2 for the PSP is also localized over in this region then that's a first for me too.
