Xyanide Resurrection demo right here, right now |
Ó
Delivered as promised! It should be remembered that Playlogic Entertainment mentioned yesterday that it will treat PlayStation Portable owners to a free demo of its space shooter Xyanide Resurrection. While the video game has been available for some time now, the demo will still be useful for those who haven't tried it yet.
The story premise of Resurrection is basically similar to that of the first Xyanide title that appeared on the original Xbox. Players take on the role of executioner Drake and try to capture destroyer of planets and civilizations Aguira. You will board a ship and will go up against enemy fighter ships created by Aguira herself using element Xyanide and her mind.
The game will have around 15 challenging levels set in four different worlds. Enemies, furthermore, are divided into 20 types and the number of bosses are around 15. The demo's for Xyanide Resurrection's level one of the full game. To be able to run the demo, your PSP unit should be running on FW 3.5.

we cant play it on our cf firmwre. with or without hexing the eboots. idk about this but you cant run the tennis game.
I wanna try out the demo. Not getting the game if this sucks horribly.
***** you sony ***** you to hell you bunch of *****s stop *****ing coming out with these fw updates you bastards go die in a *****ing fire and stop damn drm'ing ur damn demos *****s
stop forcing firmware updates for demo's...ppl wont even see if they WOULD buy the game when you do that.
Looks cool, as soon as a new custom firmware comes out or if Sony ever addresses my issues with regular firmware I would like to try playing this. Oh and on a side note regarding all of you posting about Sony pushing an official firmware, insulting Sony on a board they likely have never visited is unlikely to do anything. I agree that Sony shouldn't try to force users to update like this but I can see their reasoning and for them it definitely is easier to get more consumers to update when they think they have no choice.
Yea they dont tell you the controls in the demo and the controls are pretty weird but once you get used to it the demo's pretty easy, beat it in like 10mins
Just another note on the "forcing an update", it's not really that these are coming along just to entice people away from firmware hacks like some people seem to think, for some reason. Developers have to actually update their own development kits (with updates that hit before the public sees them - one of the next new PSP updates is supposed to be kick-ass, BTW), and so once they begin working and testing with updated firmware, that's what's required.
Shi?t Sony Fu?ck Sony and more Updates F?CK YOU
Simply open the EBOOT.PBP in a hex editor, find offset 0x000150 and rewrite 3.50 to 3.40 !!! here is a schreenshot: http://www.warst.com/v.php?i=xyanideb18a.jpg BITE MY SHINY METAL ASS SONY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
