Prepare to get sweaty, because the burly men are returning for another season of intense wrestling. THQ and JAKKS Pacific just announced that WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 is in the works for all major platforms (Microsft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, DS), scheduled for release this coming fall.New features are in good doses, highlighted by Create-A-Finisher and more engaging tag team battles.
Through press wire, it was revealed by JAKKS Pacific vice president of interactive Nelo Lucich that WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 will feature "downloadable content, innovative experiences with tag teams and a new Create-A-Finisher feature, along with significant annual improvements across all platforms."
While the Xbox 360, PS3, and PSP versions of the game will enjoy a new tag team system, Create-A-Finisher, online play, and the Road To WrestleMania Mode which offers co-op storylines, the Wii incarnation will face new match types and weapons. WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 on the motion-sensing platform is also going to employ Superstar controls.
On the other hand, the wrestling fest on the DS promises a redesigned Season Mode together with a larger Superstar roster, new match types and, Create-A-Superstar.

they learned from they mistakes... because the last one just looks good and nothing more.
it doesn't look much different to me.
I liked how they changed it last year, just more people. They only put in like half the roster. I smell DLC, $1 per extra wrestler. Better storylines would be nice, they should be crazy like the ones on Smackdown2 on PS1.
