Worms: Open Warfare 2 exploding onto PSP, DS this summer |
Ó
Open warfare's set to explode as THQ announces that Worms: Open Warfare 2 will hit both the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS handhelds this summer.Worms: Open Warfare 2 builds upon the success of last year's Worms: Open Warfare. The classic Deathmatch mode is still here, and in addition, the game also includes new single and multiplayer modes such as Rope Race and Fort as well as new Campaign modes. Players who think they need a bit of practice can also us the Firing Range, which lets players test their weapons skills.
Speaking of weapons, 11 new weapons like the Bunker Buster and Buffalo of Lies, as well as classics such as the Super Sheep, Concrete Donkey and the Holy Hand Grenade, also make an appearance in Worms: Open Warfare 2.
Players can also take the game online via multiplayer battles using a wireless connection and show off their skills with daily updated stats and leaderboards on the official Worms website.

"Players can also take the game online via multiplayer battles using a wireless connection and show off their skills with daily updated stats and leaderboards on the official Worms website." So Infrastructure or only Adhoc? I fear they mean adhoc..
YEAH i can't wait!!!
there is also infastructure dude...
YAY!!!!!! Now the only mistake they can do is not having all weapons of worms world party in it. I don't think the 11 new weapons will be enough ._. Anyway, S U P E R S H E E P !!!
NICE! I love worms! this is awesome, I wonder if you'll be able to switch worms this time, cool Online AND the Holy Hand Nade!!!
you're not kiwi are you?
i like the walking granny and the airstrikes
kiwi oO? not rly
yea, i still don't know if 11 more weapons is enough though. the super sheep is still good. also, hopefully this time, when you swing off a rope you can skid like in the computer games, because i always used that to kill or move worms, and in the first one for the PSP you would just stop when you landed.
Worm: Open Warefare 1 was rubish so why take a chance on this when I got worms world party psx on my psp.
