Wii most popular item on eBay UK since Christmas |

The Wii shows off its popularity once again as the most searched for item on UK's eBay. The info doesn't come as all that surprising, as earlier this month, comScore found the console as the most popular gadget on online searches in Europe.
According to the data from eBay, the Wii's been the most searched for item since Christmas. This data comes from 4.4 million shoppers who logged on to eBay to do their holiday shopping. Christmas day sales reached up to GBP 84 million (US$ 167 million).
The Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 don't seem to have been on as many Christmas wish lists as the Wii. The 360 ranked in at 9th place while the PS3 is at 10th.
It seems that the handhelds are more popular. The Nintendo DS came in at 5th place and the PSP at 6th. However, both were just below the iPod Nano, which is the fourth most popular item on eBay UK.

The reason the XBOX 360 and PS3 aren't as high on the list is because you don't need to buy them at overinflated prices on ebay.
