Warhammer: Battle for Atluma updates |
Ó
A lot of PSP fans are now kind of iffy about collectible card games. The present trend veers towards strategy games, and if ever there are cards involved, most would be looking after the rewards they can get from card packs they collect. Despite this, Namco Bandai Games keeps its promise. It has just announced that its Warhammer: Battle for Atluma collectible card game will launch officially on the PSP this fall. It combines both the elements of card and strategy -- with 400 cards to collect, trade, and use to defeat your opponents. John Whitmore, Director of Internal/External Development at Namco Bandai believes that the strategic, fast-paced nature of the game will set this game apart from other games in its genre. The game allows the players to enter the Old World and fight against the vast armies of either the Grand Alliance or the evil Hordes of Darkness. The secrets of Atluma will eventually be revealed that will help shape future battles, but the real secret to winning is strategy and wit -- to claim the Atluma Crystal.
Namco Bandai gives us a glimpse of the game's features: wireless multiplayer gameplay, "life and death" decisions, custom army deck where players can access 90 different units for combat enhancement, and even an extensive tutorial system for beginners. Quite a promising game, we think, and for those who are into card-strategy combos, expect more updates of this game here at QJ.

Yu-Gi-Oh for table-top RPG nerds. Wonderful.
Who gives two *****s about this ***** ?!
Wow, congradulations sir. You failed.
Sounds like it could actually do the original game justice. I think I'll be keeping an eye out for this.
Interesting, but i would prefer the figures on 3d instead of the cards so i can play it like the original. i hope it works out well.
LOL this game is for *****ing nerds. Throw a football or get a *****ing girlfriend. Who else would want this *****?
Cant wait, we need more stuff like this on the psp. And we need a blood bowl game :)
Totally support the Blood Bowl game, I'm a huge fan of it! This would be a game I would definetelly buy, and I don't even like american football., I just love gratuitous violence! Regarding the game at hand, it might work, I tried the CCG once and it was ok. Fast and furious, with good twists and quite a bit of strategy. The fans of the setting will be pleased if they don't know it yet. Hope it's not like those horrible Yu-Gi-Hoe games, they really suck!
You stupid jackoff. Ever think that not everyone in the world likes sports or is controlled by thier *****? Not everyone can be a 250 lbs doucebag with a cheerleader whore of a girlfriend and an I.Q. of 91. Someone has to be smart, and people that play games like this are the smart ones.
Chill dude, if he likes sports good for him .But in my opinion i dont like to see a bounch of sweaty dudes chasing each other,i think thats gay,(no offense). Yet i prefer baseball since im good at it,no im not using steroids.
i personally love all forms of warhammer and the warhammer universe, have a lovely girlfriend who hates warhammer and calls me a nerd, i admit to being a geek AND i play soccer and football. who cares, if you don't like one of them keep it to your self. haha the funny thing is, the guy at number 6 jjumped this post up. what a homo, a sweaty homo that is :P
Wow...I think #9 is the douche here this time... And this game will be gay... Other decent psp games haven't been doing so well, this game is going to FLOP.
