Vivendi drops "Universal"

VivendiVivendi Universal has sold its entertainment assets to NBC; and in so doing, the company decided to drop the Universal part of its name and opted to be called "Vivendi". The gaming division of Vivendi Universal follows suit and will now be known as Vivendi Games.

Vivendi Games, a player in the entertainment and telecommunications company, is publisher and developer of over 700 MMO, PC, and console-based titles including  Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, and World of Warcraft.
