Videos: Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet played on a PSP Go |
Ó
First is Gran Turismo. As far as I can tell from the translation and the vid, it seems the jaggies that are so prominent in the screenshots we've seen so far disappear entirely when you're racing past your opponents on the track. The level of detail is reportedly pretty high as well.
LittleBigPlanet, on the other hand, understandably suffers a bit from lack of detail and lower textures compared to the PS3 version. Still looks pretty damn great to me though. Too bad the demo didn't show off any of the customization options since that's probably the biggest draw for this title.
Gran Turismo will be a PSP Go launch title and is set for an October 1 release. LittleBigPlanet doesn't have a formal launch date yet although it is expected to hit retail later this year.

Gran Turismo is looking pretty damn slick, eagerly awaiting this now!
GT looks amazing!
The controls for LBP look very uncomfortable though!
GT looks great but on the PSP Go I don't think any game looks like it's going to be comfortable. At least for me and my big hands dammit.
The joystick is located at a very uncomfortable place.
I never thought about it until I saw these videos and noticed how strange it looks to hold while playing...
I think I'm gonna stick with my 2000 now. Indefinately.
The current position isn't that comfortable either, for me anyway
That's what I was thinkin...
I have big hands and it is already uncomfortable enough to play the PSP as it is.
If they want to keep making this ***** smaller then I guess I'm SOL.
why alwase bad players test big games , he drive with drift style why should grip .
you go test it then :) oh wait...
if LBP-P will have multi-player. on the ps3, it's really not that fun when you are playing by yourself. the excitement goes down really fast when you have to use 2 players to get something down.
i think i'm still gonna pick one up, if it's uncomfortable then i'll just store music and videos on it... :]
I think we should all Boycott the PSPGo. It looks like crap, it's being released way too early, and it looks uncomfortable.
And its going to be expensive as hell.
I wonder how frustrated the guy would be in GT PSP when using the analog stick...lol
lets just hope they fix the lag too when playing with another person
Well don't buy a PSP Go, for pete's sake, buy a sodding PSP3000, with its bigger screen, and more comfortable control's easy.................
At last someone i agree 100% with...........
Nice one, well said. :o)
To all the people saying it'll be uncomfortable: Get a PS3 controller if you're gonna get a Go! Problem solved.
But holy crap @ Gran Turismo. I don't even know how they managed to achieve that type of graphical quality on the PSP.
a controller almost as big (or maybe bigger) than the console itself isn't my idea of a portability. no thanks.
