Veterans will note that like Liberty City Stories, the Vice City in Rockstar Game's GTA: Vice City Stories is the same corrupt, oh-so-wet town they know and love. The place is two years younger though, but there's no big change. Most of the routes and the shortcuts in the game should be recognizable. The criminal scene itself, is a different story though. Apparently in '84 the drug cartels are still starting up and Vic is still a bit of a newbie.
Now onto the gameplay. Benjamin Turner of Gamespy notes that during his play-test he noticed that instead of short discrete missions (the ones found in LCS), Vice City Stories seems like it is returning to the more involved multi-part missions on the console GTAs.
He also notes that the game's engine has been tweaked compared to GTA: LCS. It has twice as many polygons onscreen, the horizon distance is twice as far, it should have better streaming, less pop-ins, and fewer pauses for loading. The faster streaming even allows for the return of aerial vehicles like helicopters. It almost looks like the PS2 incarnations.
However, it's not all positive as Turner does say that he finds the gun aiming system a bit awkward. The camera was also a bit of a problem as there is no button to quickly snap it to Vic's back. Overall, the faults are pretty minor. Vice City Stories is set entertain by the end of this month.

Thats great news.
longer missions could be good and bad (longer game is all I wanted from LCS) but have to play it first. Since LCS is one of the best (if not the best) all around psp games to date, I have high hopes for this one.

We should just ignore them or better yet, the QJ.net Mods could do their job and add some kind of method to automatically delete or disallow posts that contain those words or are too short (or both.)
Now back on topic, what really interests me about Vice City Stories is the improved draw distance which will make driving at speed easier and the increased polygon count. I simply cannot wait for this game and when it is released, it will change the Psp scene forever.
