Underground Fighting and High-Stakes Gambling Come to the PSP in The Con |

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. announced today the release of The Con, an innovative 3D fighting game exclusively for the PSP system. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment America and Think & Feel Inc., The Con combines the excitement of underground fighting with the intrigue of high- stakes gambling. Players compete in an underworld setting where fighting skills are equally matched by street smarts. During the fight, players can bet for or against themselves to take advantage of the odds and work the Con for the big payoff depending on if they win or lose.
In The Con, players create and customize their characters by learning and training reprogrammable fighting combinations based on five different brawling disciplines -- Street Boxing, Wrestling, Kick Boxing, Tae Kwon Do and Jeet Kune Do .
"With The Con, we have created a fresh new approach to the fighting genre on PSP with a gambling twist," said Susan Nourai, director, online and product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "The Con lets gamers experience what it's like to be an ex-con fighter in it for the money where the outcome is not based on wins or losses, but rather how much money you make from working the crowd."

homebrew has been a little slow lately...maybe someone has something really good in store for us.(still happily wating on psix)id also like to add Thank god that anoymous posting has ended!it got a little out of hand.now people will talk about the news(i hope)
this game looks ok, the customizing your own personal fighter is an attraction, for me atleast, but then i looked at some video of the gameplay, eh it looked.. not that great. def waiting for gta for psp
the only reason he keeps on puting games up is because no one is making homebrew
Finally a DEF JAM NO-HIP-HOP stylish.
Sounds good!
P.S.: I still w8 for DEF JAM ONLINE argh!! (and not HIP-HOP at all PLZ!)
Hip-Hop was one of the elements that made Def Jam cool dumb **** Onoa. But no Jiu-Jitsu in this game makes it suck a lot more than it should. If you want to be a fighter and if you don't know jiu-jitsu you are die. Literally, "You are die" not even "You are dead".
