Sony Computer Entertainment and Sky officially launch Go!View, the portable video-on-demand service for the PSP. With the launch comes a Halloween treat - PSP users in the UK and Ireland get a free 30-day trial of all three subscription packs and gain access to TV shows, movies, and sports.

You won't have to worry about who's hogging the remote. Hook up your PSP with some of today's top-rated shows, including Heroes, Desperate Housewives, and The Mighty Boosh. Get highlights from the Barclays Premier League from Sky Sports, or take your pick from a wide selection of movies.

Spice up your Halloween or warm up your winter with your PSP. GoView for yourself then see if you'd feel like signing up.

GoView would be ace if shows could be downloaded and managed on the PSP itself.. As it stands it's a cumbersome service that only exists because iPlayer doesn't run on the PSP's browser (can you imagine if it did?! 16:9 streamed TV... *drools*).

Plus my mac with an EyeTV can record uncompressed DRM free TV and send it to iTunes, iPod/iPhone, PSP formats.

I never bothered with the PSP store until it was directly on the system too. Now it eats my money :3
