Lego Star Wars II (PC, Xbox360, PSP) really must have raked in tons of moolah for Traveller's Tales because the said company has just acquired Embryonic Studios for an undisclosed sum.Embryonic Studios, which has titles like Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, Star Trek: Invasion, and Battlestar Galactica, was formed in 2005 and currently houses 20 employees at its Bollington offices in Cheshire.
Traveller's Tales' Jon Burton says of the acquisition, "We are delighted to have completed the acquisition. Embryonic possess a very talented workforce that will help drive Traveller's Tales on to further success."
Well, that's that. And as for us, let's just keep our fingers crossed that this new partnership would only lead to more and better games in the future. We'll keep you posted for more.

Based on other plausible leaked sources, Sony will release a new version of PS3 in 2008 which has better CPU (3.2 -> 6.0GHz), RAM and some more. I know most game addicts possess the lowest educational achievement levels in a society; it’s same in my country, Japan. Anyway, that’s why I’ll tell you the final conclusions first because these lifeless and jobless (or living off minimum wage) 3rd rated folks called gamers don’t want to read things. If the 2 leaked news I mentioned above are true then owners of X360 consoles are in sh+t; however, PS3 owners have no problem in any way.
All new X360 games will be written on HD-DVD, then old console owners must buy that HD-DVD add-on which costs more than $250 (when you talk about money kids, you must include taxes before talking, sigh). MS said if you want to enjoy high definition movie playback, just buy their HD-DVD add-on, then your X360 consoles will look like the PS3; MS is insane, period. It’s exactly same as the following. Honda makes Civic. Honda can say to their consumers “Buy this GPS navigator, flat screen TV, more air-bags, better tires, better seats, better engine and some more accessories, and then your Civic will become exactly same as a Mustang.” What MS says is promotional rhetoric, and that’s non-sense, kids.

Uneducated gamers don’t even know the concept of CPU’s power. When you talk about the power of a CPU, you must include many factors; frequency is just one thing; clock speed, front side bus’s width, design of architecture, etc. Uneducated gaming folks say “PS2’s CPU is even worse than my old Intel Pentium 3 CPU.” If you answer like that in an exam, you will receive 0 out of 100 mark and fail the course, kids.
PS2’s CPU which is called Emotion Engine has 299MHz of clock speed. This CPU is same as Intel Pentium 4 (1.5GHz = 1500MHz). Just like Intel Pentium 4 Standard (1.5GHz) has exact same performance as ‘Four’ Intel Pentium 4 Celeron (1.5GHz) all added together. PS2’s CPU is based on IBM’s 128 bit architectural design; Pentium 4 CPUs are based on 32 and recently 64 bit architectures.
One PS3’s CPU (Cell Broadband Processor) = two X360’s CPUs (Xenon) = ten Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad processor (Quad-Core @ 2.66GHz) = twenty-six Intel Pentium 4 Standard CPUs (3.2GHz) = thirty-five PS2’s CPUs
If you want to buy that ‘Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad processor’ CPU for your PC to play games and waste your lives away exactly just like you have done for the past 10 years or so, you have to pay about $1,000 (including taxes kids); and PS3 is only $700 when it has so many hardware; only the Blu-ray player costs more than $1,000 kids, sigh. Gamers say PS3 is expensive, and this is a total non-sense. Game addicts have low level of educational achievement, so they can’t even do simple math. Gamers are lifeless and stupid, that’s why most of them only have high school diploma. With their stupid brains, they can’t go higher than high school.
