This was announced together with the new full retail game MGS 2: Bande Dessinee. Anyway, like the previous digital graphic novel, this next iteration should provide all fans with a good background of and insight into the whole Metal Gear Solid universe. In my opinion, there's no sense in it since people enjoy reading comic books and mangas more because there is less hassle with turning back to the page and that sort. Books are simple, and people like simplicity.

I'm a big metal gear fan and I loved the original DGN. I don't have the energy to carry around comics with me so this game was a great read for me. Also I liked the bonus game that taught you the connections between characters and events. I will definitely be buying this game. One thing that I kinda wish for on the PSP is a comic reader or comic organizer so that you can take scanned comics with you on the go. Heck even better would be comics for download online via the PSP or PS3. Then again that will never happen :(
