# Nintendo knows how to capture an audienceGuest 2006-03-28 18:39
It's not only that nintendo fanatics are keeping up it sales, but the fact that the only handheld it's competing with is the PSP. Let’s face it; the PSP doesn't really have an array of titles to chose from in lines of entertainment. My PSP was collecting dust till hombrew took off and I started messing with it and it's the wifi capabilities that's really helping the DS. Nintendo has found equilibrium between graphics and entertainment that pleases everyone including adults.

Pitty they made Metroid more of a shooter than the cube versions though.... as for Mario64, I'm not surprised, its the best port Ive ever seen, the amount ofnew content they crammed into it would have been enough for a game on its own, hell Ive probably played one of the mini games longer than Ive ever spent on PSP games in total.

Oblivion definately deserves number 1 spot, going by PC version its the best game any playforms seen in a long time. Loads of bugs, but the awsomeness really makes you forget about them since they are all minor. Truely brilliant game. Awe inspiring.

# To be fair...Guest 2006-03-29 04:53
I've seen both in action, and both have their goods and bads. Since I'm a SONY fan through and through , then naturally I'll go with the PSP. Although, I think SONY could have used some type of touch screen on THEIR console :P( sure would make it easier to type :-| ). But then again...you can't play older versions of sony games on a nintendo, now can you ;)...LOL? As for the post ( got sidetracked, sorry :D) I'm glad I have 2 that are in the top 5 :D ( Daxter and GTA: LCS). I bought GTA so I could run NINTENDO games on my sony btw...lol. I'd have to say I'm not a full fledged fan of GTA , BUT I found the free moving in GTA : LCS pretty good. I actually found myself using the map often :-S Daxter has graphics that I feel, because I own every single game in the series, that it holds true to the story ( same witty comebacks, same top heavy gorgeous g wearing babes...lol) One thing I'd have to say is for them to take this same concept and apply it to the Rachet and Clank and Sly Cooper games as well. I'd recommend GTA to the adults and Daxter to all the above :P...lol

Whoa, all of the most sold DS games are ALL made by Nintendo? The community lacks 3rd party love or what?

True, most of the DS' best sellers are by Nintendo, but is that any surprise when you look at the quality of their games vs crap like Snood 2 or Ridge Racer DS?

That said games like Phoenix Wright, Viewtiful Joe, Sonic, Castlevania and Trauma Center do deserve to sell well. I know in Phoenix Wright's case the sales could have been better. :(
