Badman - Image 1The new downloadable scheme for the PSP Go just might do the trick in reviving the UMD format, ironically enough. With the launch of the PSP Go, and with people not rolling out the red carpet for its warm welcome, we're actually having publishers join in on this renewed "efforts" at getting the UMD back on track -- if you can even call it that.

News has it that NIS America is interested in re-releasing Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? in a limited edition UMD format. But for that interest to transcend into actuality, the publisher is waiting for a sign from you guys. Badman was originally released as a download-only title.

If by November 13th, pre-orders for the UMD version reach the 1,000 mark, then they will go ahead and put the game in disc. If not, then they won't.

Would you like to see Badman on the UMD? Will this have other publishers following suit? Are we going to see a re-release of Patapon 2 UMD-fied as well soon?

UMD + one person buys it, the store doesnt know if they got cfw, but they dont really care, cause they just see the person buying it, they dont think that the guy will put it on the internets..

» My thoughts exactly.

I just don't think its UMD worthy. However, I do own it and I think its a fun game. It just suits it's self well being a downloadable title.
