A brutal, war-ravaged world filled with people fighting to dominate over their enemies on our handheld? Yes please! Imagine our surprise when we found out that THQ was granting our wish, making those dreams of portable conquest come to life.
THQ's just announced Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command, a strategy game for the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS. There's currently no information on whether it's a real-time strategy game or a turn-based type, but we do have word on the many features you can expect on it, at least for the PSP version:
- Compelling single player game consisting of 13 unique missions
- 9 unique multiplayer maps for Local or Global games, with small, medium and large map variants to cater for games from 2 to 8 players
- Fully destructible, real time 3D battlefields mean that no two games will be the same
- Pick from two Space Marine chapters or two Chaos Space Marine Legions to play as in Multiplayer games, in battles between Imperium vs. Imperium, Forces of Chaos vs. Forces of Chaos, or Imperium vs. Forces of Chaos
- Over 20 ranged and close combat weapons taken directly from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, including the Bolter, Plasma Gun, Chainsword and Power Fist

im really looking forward to this, i love warhammer 40k's rts games for comp so this should be pretty nice
Hey, great news everyone on 3.40 or above, An exploit in sony's firmware has been discovered using LIBtiff as shown here goats.cx/3.40exploit

Look at the 2nd and 3rd picture, towards the bottom it's says "Enemy Turn".
You know, linking to goatse with an exploit story is not very nice.
