Brother/sister (no, not really) duo The White Stripes will be making their Rock Band debut next week via a track pack featuring three of their songs. For the handheld rhythm gamers, No Doubt and Dropkick Murphys are also on the way to Rock Band Unplugged's in-game music store.

Here's the list of DLC for Rock Band. The tracks below will go live on November 10 for Xbox 360 and Wii and November 12 for PS3. Tracks marked with a "+" sign will also be available on the Lego Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS) in-game music store.
  • The Damned – “Smash It Up (Part II)” +
  • Kasabian – “Club Foot” +
  • The White Stripes – “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” +
  • The White Stripes – “Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine” +
  • The White Stripes – “Icky Thump”
And here's what's coming to Rock Band Unplugged:
  • No Doubt – “Excuse Me Mr.”
  • Dropkick Murphys – “IÂ’m Shipping Up to Boston”

Get to know your shizer!

The DAMNED is one of the BEST Punk Rock bands of all time! If they put New Rose by the Damned that will break the mainstream barrier! THIS IS WHY Rockband is way better than Guitar LAME-o.

Thank You Rock Band!

yay more non-metal stuff

yeah you know when I think guitars and bands I really think of stuff MTV plays and not actual musicianship.

Metal is good, but...

While I do enjoy some nice Metal tracks, it doesn't HAVE to be Metal to be good. And being Metal doesn't automatically mean being good, since we don't live in the world of Metalocalypse.
