The Half Broken Crown: Battle Kingdoms!! - Image 1NextGenBooks.com and author Darren Reid have announced a free downloadable game for the Sony PlayStation Portable handheld video game system.

The game, called The Half Broken Crown: Battle Kingdoms!! (yeah, those two exclamation marks are supposed to be there), is based on Reid's forthcoming fantasy title. It has nearly the same name, as the free online point and click fantasy adventure NextGenBooks.com released in July, but apparently this one's an entirely different game and not just a stripped down version.

It's basically a pick-up-and-play turn-based adventure game where players must kill a host of monsters and other baddies in order to level up and improve their skills. An online version of The Half Broken Crown: Battle Kingdoms!! is also available for the PC, Mac, Wii and PlayStation 3 platforms.

PSP owners can download The Half Broken Crown: Battle Kingdoms!! from NextGenBooks.com/battlekingdoms.

Uhhhmmmm....

Ok, the file is an .swf so it's a flash file. What do you use on the PSP to view this file, the Browser? Im willing to give it a try, will report back when I get it working and if its even worth it.

Booooooooring

I started the .SWF on my PC If the Book is as interesting as this game i will not even try to read it -.- in this 'Game' you need only one button 'attack', 'attack', 'attack', 'next battle' 'attack', 'attack', 'attack'.... i had hoped something will change later on. but after level 100 i kind of... gave up my hopes
