Roll out the red carpet! Leipzig Messe has just announced the winners for the "Best of GC" during the Leipzig Games Convention 2007. The awards span across all current generation platforms and other industry-related tidbits showcased during the event, all dispersed under ten respective categories.
Among the list of 85 hardware and software entries, a lineup of finalists have been revealed. And with those finalists, it seemed to be a tough call on which to choose as the winner. Each of the finalists had their own big plus to bring into the table, that's for sure. Regardless, the winners have already been announced.
Here's the full list of winners of the Best of GC, each in their own category:

OK I am sure this game is going to be great, but no where near as good as Crysis and Bioshock
It only won the best psp game category.
Also WTF IS PES08 doing ontop of both PS2 and PS3? There was much better showing of PS3 games at GC than f'n PES08.

theres obviously something seriously wrong when Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Sega) is the Wii's best showing. lol
'Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games' isn't even only the Wii's best showing, it's apparently the best overall game. I'm kind of disappointed, really. Not that it's a bad game or anything, but surely there's better stuff coming out this year - on any of the 3 platforms... And definitely on PC.
Yeah, I agree with hush. Maybe they could've chosen a game that actually uses the PS3's potential. I mean really, it's a PS2 game, there's WAY better stuff than PES. Really, quite a pity...
I'm happy to see Crysis and Age of Conan both on the list though :)

If these were the winners then that is some piss poor event, Eye Training! PES! The only good games on that list are God of War and BioShock!

Are you on crack, you can't compare God of War chains of Olympus to bioshock and crysis, there all different games.
Compare bioshock and Halo 3 and you would clearly see halo 3 sucks in comparison. And Crysis is looking good but can't be compared to GOW
Also im not surprised its number one.
