This game is very good

I agree that it is not as great as it was hyped up to be, but it still is a great game. I would recommend it to most people looking for a fun addicting game.

The prince would TOTALLY kill those little helpless insubordinate blobs in a second.. Or haven't you noticed that the prince can effortlessly roll a 3000 meter Katamari around like it was nothing, and those pathetic Loco Rocos NEED that planets help just to move themselves around (ineffectively at that)... I mean isnt insinuating that the Loco Roco's could take the Prince on akin to saying that a blob of snot could give God a run for his money in the boxing ring? Puleeeese

Loco Roco is .. boring, the first few levels are fun then it gets EXTREMELY repetitive. Its not selling well in Japan, because they like GOOD games.. Katamari was good, Loco Roco is below average.

Trust me I was at a anime festival and some producers, from the company I.G. (famous for FLCL, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi etc.) came to do a confrence and a Q&A, My friend specifically asked I.G. how would an American submit an Idea over to Japan to see if it could be published, to put it short in a non racial way but still being racist the producer said currently we are not thinking of accepting ideas from the west to be published. A long story short, JAPS don't like JAP rip offs. Loco Roco..... rip off.

loco roco kicks ass!

I love loco roco! It's very addictive and there are a ton of secrets in the levels. I don't think it get repetitive at all. Each level always has something new. To me, loco roco for the psp is it's flag ship game, like mario for the NES.

no it did not live up to the hype.. everywhere it was loco this roco that... then it came out and i played it. the physics was very very cool and very very fun, but it gotold and repetitive, i dont think a game should be centered sololy on that kind of gameplay for any long length of time.

Katamari is the same gameplay too, only that sometimes is timed or just taking the flowers and stuff.....I love Loco Roco, is addicting and is not repetitive. That's really a surprise that a game like that doesn't make well in Japan, let's wish makes better soon there and also in the rest of the world.

i do love loco roco. def one of my favorite games, but i do have to agree it can get repetative. Sometimes i like the repetativness because its fun, but other times it gets boring. i think they need more mini games and other little things to make the game even better.

The japanese people are generally a weird bunch of people. They latch on to a bunch of quirky colorful games, that most of us think are stupid. I'm just surprised they didn't like Loco Roco. Personally, I didn't like Loco Roco or Katamari, but it just seems like Japan would like Loco Roco. Eh who knows, they're a tough crowd to please.

I agree, QJ.net has gone way downhill when they got commercialized. When pspupdates was psphacker, you got a lot of good news, and not opinionated articles and worthless stories. If I want to read opinion, i'll read a blog. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but I honestly think pspupdates and it's other "sequels" were much better off with the original editors. Once qj started hiring these news posters and paid them for the posts, we see a lot of junk. Of course, not all editors are like this, there's a few that I like.

The game did suck tremendously..But I didn't expect much anyway..I played about 3 PSP games I enjoyed. Stil, the homebrew alone blows away the entire DS library. (Lawyer simulators? Aged mario platformers? ROFL.)

this is a purely ***** game. its fun for about 2 hours which is how long you'll play it for before you complete the 5 worlds. the game just ends, theres no depth to it, just the same thing over and over again. i did have fun playing wioth it, but it serioulsy need to either be harder or longer. i prefer both ;-) *****s

I played the demo of loco roco and I wanted to break my psp for it. The music is the most irritating thing ever and there seemed no real depth in the game and its very samey. OK different levels but there are no new things to really explore and it isn't made addictative fdun puzzler. I hated the controls. JAPAN ROCKS CAUSE THEY DONT LIKE THE GAME.

loco roco is the best thing ive bought for my psp. I do think its better than me and my katamari, but i only got to play on that for like 20 mins so i could be wrong... what im waiting for now is loco roco 2 with more levels and more addictive music :)

I'm half Japanese, and I'm not that interested in the game. My friend seems to love it, however; of course, he's fully American. I don't know...i thought that they tried too hard to make it "unique." It's the same that I feel for Katamari Damacy as well. It feels like they're purposely making it "different," which seems odd to me. I'd rather have actual oddballs, not manufactured ones. This is coming from someone who hasn't played it yet, but the battle is to make someone buy your game. I'll wait till it gets cheaper, I can't take a full-price risk on a game I can't get excited about.

i dunno. i thought this game was average. it was hyped too much and personally i didnt find it that much better than yoshi's topsy turvy on gba. nice try, but next time try putting in a bit more playability instead of just concentrating on your cutesy colorful graphics

I swear loco roco is trying to groom kids against smokers, black people and pot heads :| I played the demo, and it wasn't that fun. They could have stayed with the same concept and made the gameplay [i]a lot[/i] better, more responsive, etc. Just because it's colourful doesn't mean people are going to like it, they might as well just paint a turd and sell that.

The Japanese, they don't know what they want. They like innovative stuff, this game is innovative & they don't like it. They have to have a virtual Panda or monkey to find it interesting. The Japs are just sucking nintendos teet at this point while completely ignoring the other systems. Nintendo is smart they are catering to the japanese first, then to the americans second. They surely will keep their systems selling well the We and DS. The japanese will gobble the we up once it's released and have it dominate overseas while keeping the other systems the PS3, psp and Xbox and keep them at the bottom of the barrel for not having interactive and crazy type fishing games.

hmmm at least it is something "new" - no remake or whatever Yes it is very sweet here and there I´m in world 2-5 now and I guess I´ve heard some music twice ... did I ? Some levels and some music is not so innovative as in the beginning it seems to me. Anyway, will play further and look... I mean it is not THAT bad, you cant say it´s BAD. It´s a platform game and in this genre it´s better than average FOR SURE.

Everyone I discussed this with in person agreed to me that the game is pretty average. About the Japanese: You simply can't judge them together because they are so very different from each other. (I know that, because I just returned from a 17 day jurney through Japan) The reason doesn't sell, is because it get's too much advertisment and thus creates a natural scepticism. - Immagine: there are giant TVs on Tokyo crossroads showing ads, including giant speakers, shouting out the damn music all day.

i realy like locoroco and i bought it but my 3 year old siters started chewing on the umd and destroyed it.... honestly i have no idea how she managed to get a hold of it...... luckily i made a rip of it like i do all my games just for this reason..... but my only problem is idk how to play it...... i have a downgraded 2.5 psp with devhook.... can some1 help me out??
