Going big - Image 1It looks like Gears of War has to share some of the spotlight with another dominant 360 title.

Gamasutra reports that based on the rental charts of GameFly, Capcom's action shooter, Lost Planet continues its stranglehold on the top spot for rental requests on all platforms.

Wii requests were topped by Nintendo's Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, followed by Atlus' Trauma Center: Second Opinion. For the PS3 it was Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog that took the bulk of requests.

In the handheld arena, Diddy Kong was the most rented DS title. The most rented PSP title was Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters followed by Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

These results were based on GameFly's charts for the most requested games for the week ending January 26.

» yet

only problem with rentals is that it's not sales. Most of the time when people just rent they are taking it home burning.. er I mean backing up the disc, and bringing it back. So now they have a 60 dollar game for the price of a rental. Very cheecky really

That's so funny. Sonic the hedgehog is number one in PS3 rentals. That game is horrible, but it's the best a PS3 owner could hope for at this point if they're sick of resistance.

» Its bad but so is cod3 on PS3

Well I agree but at least they are only renting it!!.

Call of Duty3 is ok but the PS3 version suffers from colors loss, collision issues, and inconsistent framerates compared to Xbox 360 version.

» Tiberium Wars

The one I want is the RTS game Tiberium Wars coming out in March, Tiberian Sun was a great game on the PC and this looking far better the 360 has exclusive multiplayer modes, including Siege, Capture the Flag, Capture and Hold, and King of the Hill. Siege.

And it uses the Live camera well.

I see that there is also a keyboard and mouse adapter now out to.
