TGS to get extra day

The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA) - a Japanese trade body - have recently announced that an additional date will be added to this year's Tokyo Game Show. The extra day is reportedly for use by press and trade attendees only.

Gamasutra reports that the newly added date will now see the 2007 even begin on Thursday, September 20th and end on Sunday September 23rd.

The announcement made by CESA indicates that they're keen to focus mostly on international business. Gamasutra speculates that this is likely due to the scaled-down nature of the E3 Expo E for All in LA this year.

The CESA announcement clearly makes reference to the improved use of the Tokyo Game Show as a forum for business and a venue for international companies and attendees. This makes the TGS a "more complete international trade show."
