Major electronics retail chain Circuit City is currently having a sale on pre-selected UMD movies. We know a number of you guys are not so keen on buying movies for your PlayStation Portable (PSP), save maybe for Advent Children: Final Fantasy VII, but for those who are interested, here's the deal.

From here on until March 17, 2007, you can buy each UMD movie for just US$ 10. And if you have the time and in the mood to physically walk inside a retail store, you get two UMDs for the same price.

According to the ad, the total number of movies on sale is 16, but the flyer, as well as the listing, only shows 12. Here are the 12 movies included in the list; wait for further confirmation about the missing 4 titles.

i stopped in yesterday and picked up a couple movies. i always said the format would have been successful if they sold the movies at the $10 price point. i picked up four movies for 20 bucks.

I've always been meaning to get some more movies for my PSP, but the price has always made me decide against it in the end. Now I don't have an excuse to not get some!

You made it sound as though you can get a UMD movie for $10, and another one at the same price ($20 in total). So, here's a translation for those who care:

2 for $10.

There's no Circuit City in Canada but they acquired the Radio Shack chain which is now known as "The Source by Circuit City".

On their website there is ONE movie for the PSP.

It's.... Spiderman (the one you got for free when the PSP was just released).

The price?

$69.99 (Canadian).

Are they completely INSANE???? I don't give a damn about UMD movies (Jonny's PMP Mod/PMP Mod AVC rules!), but I get soooo tired of this. Any other Canucks on here?

and they had all of the movies, and I was tempted to buy some (as it is a great price), but decided I probably wouldn't watch them anyways as I have already watched the movies I would have bought a number of times already...

#The other four titles:

#Resident Evil

#S.W.A.T.

#Jumangi

#Zorro

I was thinking about getting Jumangi and 50 First dates...but like I said, I've already seen them both and probably won't watch them even if I bought them, lol.
