Team M33 releases statement on custom firmware development, next cfw release |

Team M33 has posted a little something on their website stating their views about the current state of custom firmware development. In a nutshell, it says that those waiting for the newest custom firmware will have to wait a little longer for its release.This delay is apparently due to the OE leak, which gave everyone - including Sony - a chance to look at how the OE firmwares worked. According to Team M33, "Sony saw this and made some interesting changes in some modules (mainly loadcore), plus the change of some nids that are used to the development of M33 Custom Firmware."
It doesn't mean Team M33 will be pulling the plug on their custom firmware development efforts. The next release will just take a little longer, as the changes "won't probably last too long and won't be an important problem." So just hang tight and be patient guys.

Looking forward to next M33 release, hate those other noobs like Team AOP who can't code, which is obviously why their ripped/ugly firmware is limited to an older firmware version.

If you love M33 and get ferious this is not for you. Im not meaning to put M33 down just pointing out one problem I see.
Im starting to get fed up with M33. See they think that they are king and no one can do bettery than them so they beat the little guys up and give them no chance. But you know what they were once the little guys and Dax was on top. The difference between them and Dax is Dax wanted every one to have fun and code not force every one to do what they want. Like Dax was fine with "Add Ons" but M33 is not they say
"M33Cf, will be deeply studied and reversered to see if *anything* of the core, reboot, or whatever from our work has been ilegally used. If this is afirmative, we'll have to act against this."
Now that doesnt sound like a group of people that want the comunity to grow, because the only way the comunity can grow is by starting with these so called "ADD Ons" then going to there own firmwares.
Because M33 even ripped off Daxes code by revers engenering it. Now what you got to say about that M33, saying not to do what you did.
Dont get me wroung I love M33 and i believe they are the best CF (and I use M33) but I feel they need to look at how they conduct them selfs and see if they are treating every one the way they should, because the way they worded that one paragraph made them look retarded in my view.
Just my thoghts.
P.S. M33 dont take this personaly just think about what I said.

1. The "add-ons" they're complaining about are when people toss a pre-existing theme and pre-existing plugins into 3.52m33 and call it a totally new custom firmware.
2. Explain how they "ripped off" Dax when Dax didn't make a 3.51, 3.52, or 3.60 custom firmware.
You had a typographical error as well. It's "You failed", not "fail". You need a subject and verb. You were missing the subject.

strangely enough, i agree with you. They are a bunch of elitists. No offense (and this is not racist, since it's true), but it is well known that Russians are very vain and arrogant (and technically rightfully so, they were once a world power), so it shouldn't be much of a surprise. I'm not really criticizing. Many of my country members are extremely arrogant as well (ironically, it's the same country that defeated the USSR :D)

I completely agree with what mitchelljm said. And I must say that I still don't really trust Team M33, that's why I'm still using 3.40 OE. I really don't like their attitude towards several things (they're very childish, if you ask me), and I hate the way they do some things (I'm talking about the ps3crap.com thing. Bricking hundreds of PSP on purpose isn't exactly a great thing to do, and I'm sure most of the guys who got bricked weren't aware of the fact that ps3crap.com wasn't a trustworthy site.)
So, as mitchelljm said, they used Dark_Alex's work for their custom firmware, but they go crazy if someone else uses their work? Wow... -_-
