Tale of the Last Promise will soon be available for download on the PlayStation Network next week (that is assuming that the service will be up and running by then).

In case you're worrying about the space it'll need, then we're telling you now there's nothing to worry about. According to developers Imagepooch, the whole game will only use up some 250MB of space in your handheld.

However, as president Ryoei Mikage pointed out, it doesn't mean that just because it comes in a small package, the content will be small as well. It's just really a matter of saving up space, so he says.

The reason why it's so small in size is that they really wanted to keep it low by adjusting the polygon and texture compression accordingly. Still, the devs are reassuring gamers that they definitely did not scrimp up on the amount of data reflected on the screen at any one given point in time.

Japan is getting a taste of Tale of the Last Promise come April 28th.

there's that, too. but are you concerned about the small size of the game at all?

Not really, though it will likely look like an old PSX game rather than a new PSP one. But if it plays well and is fun, that's truly what matters.

i don't agree with the first line (because of assumptions before the game is even released) but i agree with the 2nd one... it's the gameplay that matters ;)
