Taito DS game Space Invaders Extreme goes to PSP |

The next entry to the long-running Space Invaders franchise, Space Invaders Extreme, was first announced at this year's Tokyo Game Show. At that time, Taito made clear that the game is going to be exclusive for the Nintendo DS. However, it seems that the developer has changed its mind because the official website of Space Invaders Extreme is now revealing that the latest version of the classic shoot -em up will also be appearing on the Sony PlayStation Portable.
While major details about the title have yet to pour in, we believe that Space Invaders Extreme received a lot of improvements based on the website itself and the press demo that was made available at TGS 2007.
Aside from featuring classic gameplay mechanics, the new game now has a somewhat trippy feel that should make it even more exciting. Anyway, we expect Taito to release updates and media as we get closer to the game's February 2008 release.
