Superman Returns will hit the shelves on November 20. Okay, we know fans of the game can't wait to master Superman's powers, slice through the free-roaming atmosphere, and earn the unlockables. We can't speed up the release date for you, but here's a little something from EA: brand new screenshots that you can feast on. Only catch is, you gotta find which ones belong to the DS platform, or which images match the Xbox and the PSP systems. They're all in a hodgepodge here.

Superman Returns features lots of new stuff, apart from the 80 sq. miles of free-roaming environment. Thing we like best is probably the fact that Superman is indestructible, but he can't abuse this power, since Metropolis will spawn casualties and destruction. We also heard reports that say EA won't pitch in Superman's "x-ray vision" in the game. Too bad, eh?

PSP? Yeah Right

Why do I think everything's from the Xbox? Oh! 'CUZ NOBODY'S going to show off a game on the PSP!!! I love my PSP too, but let's get real here - other than prerendered stuff, nothing is shown off in-game on the PSP when there's the Xbox to show it off on! My vote: None of the above from PSP OR DS, all from Xbox, and possibly even all in-game. We'll be lucky if his cape even has realistic physics on release (grr... hate developers that can't be bothered to actually stretch the PSP...) --Databoy2k

:-(

Yeah i read from a credible source that the PSP version was canned due to them having to dumb it down way too muck to make it all work. Which sucks ass!

.

You can find a E3 in game video of the PSP version on youtube. it was blurry and hard to see, but it looked alomost worse then the N64 SM game. But this pisses me off more now, i didnt know they cancled the psp version untill now. my only 2 good consoles is PC and PSP and now they are shi t. i dont even know why they "say" they cancled the PC version, as "some" pc's are more powerfull then even a 360. Bleh, i hope to god they change there mind. i dont care if the game sucks on PSP, i just wanna play a superman game on it. besides the older emulated games. ima major CM fan and i still do enjoy messin round with SM N64 lol (even tho the game was a disgrace) But your right, all those shots above are from the Xbox 360 version of the game. hell, the only real reason i want it to come to PC and/or PSP is so i can hack the shiznit out of it! Ugh...

This is gonna suck on *all* platforms, like all movie-related games do. Why bother waiting? In addition this is based on a movie that sucks, so...

And to think...

I bought a PSP last week anticipating Justice League Heroes and Superman Returns. I have to wait a month for JLH, and now... no Superman. Crap! The good news? I'm a fully converted PSP fanatic. This little machine blows my mind! So it was worth it to get one, anyway. Now if I'd only ignored that "Upgrade to Firmware 2.81" message....
