LucasArts is getting ready to unveil two of its highly anticipated games at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show. Get ready as they will show off Fracture (PS3, 360) and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3, 360, PS2, Wii PSP, DS, N-Gage).
Here we're hoping to be blown away with new trailers or better yet, gameplay vids. Both games are expected to make waves for different reasons and in their own rights. Although we do expect an abundant amount of explosions from both.
Fracture is a game set in a dystopian future, where the West and East are divided and the world is wracked by Civil War. What makes the game special is the use of Terrain Deformation, where the terrain reacts and changes according to your actions.
A lot of people are looking forward to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed because, well, it's Star Wars. But also because of the use of DMM, or digital molecular matter, that allows the game to simulate the behavior of real world materials.
In other words, when you use the Force on stuff like metal and wood, they're gonna get destructified like metal and wood are supposed to. Here's to 2008 CES!
