The developers over at Rebellion Developments came up with an update for the video game Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron regarding Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon. According to the devs, players can take their game to the ground or the skies when playing as this legendary scoundrel.

When piloting the equally legendary ship, players can use the twin front-mounted cannons for shooting down enemy ships. And also, you might want to reserve those proton torpedoes for destroying the capital ships' systems. Likewise, Solo can also be as effective on the ground with his blaster pistol and detpacks.

Lastly, the developers decided to give Hans Solo the Rally power-up feature. "While the stories and movies will tell us that he's a reluctant leader, he is still a leader. With the Rally power-up, you can get a bonus of damage reduction by just being near Solo" said one developer.

Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron will be available in North America on October 9 and it will be released elsewhere on October 12.
